I'm not convinced that this many people clicked on this article for the tropies.
They said this about the debut trailer for The Last of Us, with words like "mineblowing" and "revolutionary" and "you've never seen anything like it" (or something to that effect). I mean, it was a cool trailer and I'm excited for that game, but GT sure hyped it up like the second coming of Jesus.
Morowind, Kotor and Half-Life, being PC games, are almost infinitely upscalable, either literally via upping the resolution or with mods that add high-res textures and updated shaders, as long as there's a community around said games.
Anyone actually defending Bioware on this front must be sick in the head, especially if your only argument is a strawman like, "Lol get a life loser." This is not a matter of the legality or ethics of using a stock photo. It's about the unforgivable laziness of taking a very central character and using a ten minute photoshop of a stock photo as their face for the reveal that millions of fans have been waiting for and theorizing on. 120hz at 1080p for BF3 on ultra IS overkill, I assure you. A GPU that could do that costs more than an entire Xbox 360 did at launch. If you really want to invest $1200 into a system that can pull that off, I invite you to just build a PC instead.
